First my Gmail account has been updated so I’m now using the new version but more important is that Skype have just release a beta release of the new Skype for Linux and it actually has Webcam support! As I don’t have a webcam currently in Poland this doesn’t make much difference to me (although I may buy one now) but it is good to know that Skype is listening to their users and developing Skype for Linux quickly. I hope by the time I return to London next year there will be a stable release and I can use my webcam on my desktop.
Thanks Skype. Keep up the good work and please give Joost a nudge. We want Joost on Linux (although Miro is perfect anyway)!!

14|Nov|2007 2If you don’t already have the new Gmail then the only thing you can do it wait for it to be updated. It also helps to have the language set to American English.
