Yes it is that time of the year again when I get a little bit older and a little bit wiser! Today on my birthday I went to Slovakia which is only a 3 hour coach journey away from Krakow. Maria and I went skiing and I had the most fantastic day, ignoring the fact that I had to wake up at 4.15 and nowhere on the slope accepted Credit/Debit cards. Unbelievable in the 21st century! I made sure though these facts didn’t spoil my day.

On my birthday (2nd February 2008) Maria and I went skiing in the Tatra mountains but on the Slovakian side.
