Yesterday I went to a real life desert about an hours drive from Krakow. It’s called Błędów Desert (sometimes the Polish Sahara! (link in Polish)) and is a very strange phenomenon and quite unique to Central Europe. This being a desert there wasn’t much to take photos of! ![]()
If you look closely in the photo below you should just about make out some small Polish Camels!

Incredible!! a desert in Europe, I know Mexican desert and what i can say is that are really really hot… is it hot there too?

At the of the Wikipedia page I linked to it shows all the deserts of Europe. There are 8 in total! Except in Spain they’re usually small. As it was so small the weather was basically the same, just nothing really could grow there and there was lots of sand!
